Johannes Schouten

Pastor Jo and his family have been serving Nelson Ave since early 2008. They are thankful that God has led them to this church community and the lower mainland. Pastor Jo sees his main ministry as trying to have people experience the Bible, the Word of God, as a light revealing to us Jesus Christ, "in whom are hidden all the riches of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:3). Some of his influences include John Piper, Tim Keller, Justin Taylor's blog and The Gospel Coalition.
