Brendan Lane

I am excited to serve at Nelson Ave as worship director! I have served as a worship leader for nearly 15 years at Richmond Chinese Alliance Church and New Westminster CRC. I am convinced that corporate worship is not only the place in which God's people come together to ascribe praise to God, but also the place in which the whole people of God are formed and equipped for good works (Eph. 4:11-13). My hope and passion is to lead corporate worship in such a way that helps us to re-enact the Gospel narrative week by week, and offers us a foretaste of that great heavenly worship, in which we will be a "great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb" (Rev. 7:9).

In my free time, I enjoy games of all kinds, jamming out on different instruments, hockey, hiking, and Jeopardy.
