Hello from Mexico!
Wow! The last few months have been crazy for us here on the mission field in Mexico. From March 1st through July 1st we have seen over 2000 people cancel their short-term mission trip with us, and we’ve watched while the world braces to see what happens next. Yet, as Christ’s ambassadors, and through the partnership of God’s people like you, we press on. We have never been more determined in our mission to mobilize and equip God’s people to reach the forgotten!
The good news is that amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases here in Ensenada, we have been designated as “essential” by the Mexican government and this means we can start back to work. Our staff will be working together to build the homes which have been sponsored by Churches like yours. Starting on July 13th, we will set out to build 17 homes in 17 weeks to the Glory of God.
We would like to invite you to take part in a “virtual build” with us. This means that throughout your designated week, we will be communicating with you through video updates. Our goal is to make your Church as much a part of the ministry as we can. When the build week is finished, we will be making an impactful documentary video for you, along with a special message from our leadership to you and your Church.
Attached to this email you will find a link to the information on the exact Mexican families to which your Church will be ministering through your partnership with YUGO. Please pass this information around to your Church so the body of Christ can be praying together for the families.
You will also find the dates of the construction project. These will be the dates during which we will be doing the “virtual build” so please make sure your team is following YUGO Ministries on Facebook! We will also be sharing these videos on your Church’s Facebook page.
It is a true joy to serve as your missionaries in Mexico, and I speak for our entire staff when I say thank you for your partnership and thank you for being together with us in this endeavor to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Nelson Avenue Construction Dates: Sun. July 26th - Thurs. July 30th
On Sunday the 26th, we will start with a Virtual Orientation and welcome at 7PM Pacific (live on Facebook). Don't worry, for the people who don’t see it live, we will leave it on the page for later.
All throughout the week there will be special daily content posted at 11AM and 7PM from the build sites and campus experiences.
Then on Thursday the 30th at 7 PM, we will be sharing the dedication video as well as a special personal video just for your team.
