This summer we would like to match the children from Children's church and nursery with a prayer partner or buddy. The prayer buddy would commit to pray for a child over the summer months. There are 20 children whose lives and yours can be impacted by becoming a prayer buddy. Time commitment is from June 25 until Sept 10.

As a Prayer buddy you will receive a picture of a child along with some information about him/her and suggestions on what to pray for. This information is supplied by the parents. Place the magnetic picture on your fridge to remind you to pray for this child regularly. You can do this as a family, individual or couple. 

We encourage you to connect with the child and family to receive updates for prayer, let them know you are praying for their child, and most of all to get to know them better. This is not just about prayer, but a wonderful opportunity to develop a relationship with a young child and parents. Feedback from parents and children tell us how much this personal interaction, and caring means to them. So, invite the family over, talk at church, or just send a note to the child.

New this year: sign up to be a prayer person by June 18 at the Children’s Church ministry board-far wall of sanctuary. Pictures and cards will be distributed to your mail slot on June 25.
