We are so very excited to be heading to Ensenada, Mexico on March 19-25 to join Yugo Ministries on a house-building project. Yugo works with local churches and pastors to build houses for community members who need extra support. NACC's Mexico ministry is a partnership of our whole church family. Our soup lunch chefs, those who donate to the soup lunch, prayer warriors, the Deacons who support offerings, and the team who will travel to Mexico to build the house. This year's construction team is a multi-generational group that includes, Chris Lee, Grace Lee, Nathaniel Dawit, Fortuna Keleta, Nick VanderKwaak, Dana VanderKwaak, Lucas VanderKwaak, Mattias Jesson, Katherine Newman, Sophia Li and Phyllis Schouten.
We are still working towards raising the necessary funds for the trip. The funds raised at our next soup lunches will go towards the airfare for the youth, van rentals for the team and a few other miscellaneous expenses. Upcoming soup lunches: February 5, March 5, April 2 and May 7
Special Offering: On Sunday, February 12, you will have an opportunity to donate towards the house-building costs that include the concrete slab, construction supplies and simple furnishings for the completed house. We need an additional $4000 to cover the remainder of these expenses.
NACC has been given an amazing opportunity to grow in faith and partner with God's church in Mexico to make a difference in the lives of one particular family! Thank you for going on this journey with us!
