During the season of Advent / Christmas we think about the 1st coming of Jesus (his birth in Bethlehem) and we prepare our hearts for his 2nd coming. This year we are focusing on the "names of Jesus," taken from Isaiah 9:6-7: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
The season of Advent / Christmas is a great season for song, drama, food, community, gifts, cards, generosity and hearing (again!) the amazing story of the birth of Jesus the Messiah!
